Autel MP900Z-BT – Best New Scan Tool? Test And Review. Watch before You Buy.

https://youtu.be/sEpWq-xdpj0

This is the newest model in the Autel lineup of OBDII diagnostic scan tools. This Bidirectional control scan tool is the next step up from the 808 series. It includes several new features that the previous 808 series does not have. The new features include Wifi printing, Pre & Post scan, and license plate and VIN# scanning, etc. This new model has a 8 inch screen, (larger than the 7″ found on the 808) a 7700mAh battery (larger than the 5000mAh batter with the 808) and it also includes an 8 megapixel camera and flash. (the 808 series never had a camera or a flash) In this video I was asked to focus on the new software features that I mentioned earlier. In my opinion, Autel scan tools are hard to beat and they are my personal favorite of all the scan tool brands on the market. However, these new software features such as VIN# / License plate scanning need a bit more refinement before I could take them as serious features. I know Autel will get them perfected and when they do, these features will be a great addition to their scan tool line-up. However, right now they seem unreliable and they are a novelty, at best.

Bottom line – This is one of the best scan tools money can buy right now, in my opinion. If you’re looking for a pro level scan tool with a great reputation then look no further. The way I see it…. this is a top of the line scan tool that just happens to also have some new (extra) software installed, (VIN / plate scan) that I didn’t really need in the first place, so if that extra software isn’t working properly yet, it’s not a big deal because I would have purchased this tool even if that extra software was not installed. And honestly, I don’t know many guys who use their scan tools tablet to manage their customer / vehicle information anyway. Sure, some guys do, but most shops use a proper computer with software designed for running an auto repair business. To each his own.

This scan tool is awesome when used as a scan tool. One of the best! All that other software fluff is a novelty….. in my opinion anyway!

Thanks for watching!

XTOOL D7S ALL NEW Bidirectional Scan Tool. Upgraded D7

XTOOL D7S ALL NEW Scan Tool

https://youtu.be/5hlEVLyWNvo

In this video we look at the all new XTOOL D7S OBDII bidirectional scan tool. The original D7 is an excellent diagnostic scan tool already but they made it even better with this new D7S. Things like a larger battery, a rear camera with flash, collapsible kickstand, more storage, etc…. along with the new graphical user interface (the part the user sees and interacts with) gives the new D7S a whole new look and feel. The D7 has always been highly regarded in the scan tool world for having full bidirectional software that is full of features and functions for a very affordable price. It’s hard to find any other scan tool that has more features and functions for a lower price. The D7 has been in the “sweet spot” of scan tools for several years at this point already, and now the new D7S moves into the “sweet spot”.

Thanks for stopping by.

OTOFIX Comparison D1 Pro VS D1 Lite OBDII Diagnostic Bidirectinal Best Scan Tools

Otofix Comparison D1 Pro VS D1 Lite. OBD Diagnostic bidirectinal scan tools.

https://youtu.be/X5wDsdV4H3U

This is a comparison video to show the differences between the OTOFIX D1 Pro, and the D1 Lite diagnostic scan tools. Both of these scanners have full bidirection control and full live data on all modules in most vehicles. The D1 PRO scan tool does have a few more software capabilities than the D1 Lite but most of those are extras are for makes/models that are not sold in the USA, with the exception being Audi and Volkswagen vehicles. However, the D1 PRO has a larger screen, bigger/faster processor, double the RAM, and double the storage, a much larger battery, etc, etc. Overall, the physical hardware of the D1 PRO makes the tool feel much snappier and quicker than the D1 Lite (and the Autel 808 series) and it gives a much better overall user experience. Both of these scan tool are capable both capable of doing the same work 99% of time but the D1 PRO is much faster a nicer to use. The one notable difference that I have personally noticed, and I showed in this videos, is the speed of the full system scan. The D1 Pro scan speed is absolutely incredible. Be sure to watch my demonstration in this video. I’m sure you’ll be surprised, too!

OTOFIX D1 PRO Diagnostic Scan Tool Review. Powered by Autel. Best All Around OBDII Scanner

OTOFIX D1 PRO Diagnostic Scan Tool Review. Powered by Autel. Best All Around OBDII Scanner

https://youtu.be/ofiXkvw7H9E

In this video I review the OTOFIX D1 Pro OBDII diagnostic scan tool. This bidirectional scan tool is a step up from the Autel 808 (or OTOFIX D1 Lite) series of scan tools. It has a larger screen, bigger and faster processor, newer Android operating system, faster Wifi, double the RAM and storage, larger battery, and it even has a few more features and functions. This automotive scanner is terrific! It’s an OTOFIX branded tool that is made and sold by Autel, and it runs on Autel software. The OTOFIX line of tools is an excellent and affordable way to get access to Autel software, AND you get those software updates free for TWO years, instead of only one year. If you’re in the market for a new scan tool, the OTOFIX line of scan tools should be near the top of anyone’s consideration list…. especially the D1 Pro as shown in this video. It’s a REALLY good solid scan tool. Be sure to check it out!

Thanks!
