Vevor Mag Drill Demonstration and Review With Annular Cutters

https://youtu.be/JjRs7HD9FAc

In this video I have a chance to test out the Vevor Mag Drill kit (aka, portable drill press, frame drill, etc) that comes with 11 annular cutters. I was impressed with how well it worked considering it costs a fraction of the price for a new BRAND NAME mag drill. The annular cutters that come with the kit seem fairly decent… especially when you consider how much those cost by themselves. It’s very easy to get perfectly sized, and perfectly round holes in steel when you use a mag drill with annular cutters. The holes a perfect every time! I don’t have a need for a mag drill every day but occasionally I run into a project when a mag drill would be very handy. I could never get myself to buy one because they cost far to much for a tool that I would only use very occasionally, However, the Vevor mag drill is priced much more affordably, compared to brand name mag drills. Yes, Vevor gave this drill to me but even if they hadn’t, I would still consider buying this tool for myself because of the price alone. And now that I’ve had a chance to try it for myself I can tell that it will do anything that I ever ask it to do. The drill seems to be fairly well made and the motor runs smoothly with no weird smells. If you’re in the market for a mag drill but you don’t want to break the bank, this might be the drill for you.

XTOOL D7W, FIRST Scan Tool With WiFi VCI

https://youtu.be/54JuHonWrEM

BRAND NEW ITEM. Just in time for Black Friday deals. Must see even if you don’t buy.

The XTOOL D7W is the FIRST affordable scan tool to use a WiFi VCI instead of Bluetooth. This means the wireless connection between the vehicle and the scan tool is utilizing WiFi technology instead of Bluetooth technology. Which, to me, is a really big deal! WiFi is light years ahead of Bluetooth in terms of speed, bandwidth, and wireless range. In this video I do a range test and I get very impressive results. I will probably do another video in the near future to determine maximum distance of the WiFi VCI but I ran out of room in this video and I still had a rock solid wireless connection between the scan tool and the VCI. (plugged into my vehicle) The new D7W is the wireless version of the D7S. Both are brand new models from XTOOL and they are both excellent scan tools. Okay, sure, there are SOME other scan tools in this world that DO use WiFi….. but those are few and far ultra high end tools that cost thousands of dollars. This tool is the first AFFORDABLE full bidirectional control scan tool that the majority of people can actually buy. In my opinion this is one of the biggest advancements in the entire scan tool industry since scan tools became Android based. I suspect all other scan tool manufacturers will be scrambling to design their own WiFi VCIs now that XTOOL has released this new D7W. This WILL become the new standard for all scan tools, eventually… If you’ve been looking at new scan tools, this one is definitely worth taking a second look at. The D7 series of scan tools has always had excellent value (maybe the best value of all scan tools) when you consider their overall functionality VS price….. and now with a WiFi VCI, it’s an even better value.

Autel MV108 & BT506 Scan Tool Accessories Demonstration, How To & Review

https://youtu.be/pEMFZrv9gD4

In this video I show hot to use two different Autel scan tool accessories. The first one is the Autel MV108S video inspection camera (scope) along with the MaxiVideo app. The second demonstration is the Autel BT506 Bluetooth battery tester along with the battery tester app. I am using the all new Autel MP900Z-BT scan tool to demonstrate both of these accessories. The scan tool model is only about 1-2 months old at the time when his video was recorded. Both of these Autel accessories work very well and they would make for a great addition to anyone’s set of diagnostic tools.

AIUITIO Rivnut, Nutsert Tool Review and Demonstration

https://youtu.be/ZI6A68Uw6IY

The AIUITIO rivnut / nutsert tool review and quick demonstration. This is a great way to add a threaded hole into a piece of metal where you can’t get to the back side with a nut, and/of if the metal is too thin to cut threads into. This kit is very complete and the tool seems well made. It comes with a bunch of inserts in 13 different sizes. So of course the tool has 13 different mandrels (arbors?) to install all of those different sizes. The two inserts that I installed in this video turned out perfect and they hold very well without spinning in the hole. Seems like a very nice kit. It’s certainly going to be very handy to have one of these in my shop. I can think of many projects in the past where this kit would’ve made things easy. Big thanks to AIUITIO for sending these two kits.

I will be giving away away one of these sets. The drawing will probably be in early December of 2023. Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss the giveaway. Stay tuned!
